Leadership

Al King co-founded CurbSide in 1998, starting the business out of a garage with a partner and an idea. Today he serves as president and co-owner, helping grow the company into one of the Twin Cities' largest commercial landscaping and snow management operations, with seasonal teams reaching up into the hundreds. Outside of running CurbSide, Al is active in the community and a strong supporter of Folds of Honor, even hosting an annual charity run with proceeds benefiting the organization.

Scott Bohlsen joined CurbSide just six months after it was founded and has been a driving force in the company's growth ever since. As an owner, he built the landscape division into one of CurbSide's core strengths, forming lasting relationships with many of Minnesota's premier commercial properties along the way. He still works hands-on as an Account Manager, staying close to day-to-day operations and the clients he's grown with. Outside of work, Scott's usually traveling or out on the water fishing with family and friends.

CurbSide has a long history of showing up for the community beyond the job site. We're proud partners of Folds of Honor, a nonprofit that provides educational scholarships to the spouses and children of fallen and disabled service members. It's a cause that aligns with everything we believe in. Hard work, sacrifice, and taking care of the people who give everything.
CurbSide partners with Wild Gives Back to plant trees for every broken stick, joining the Minnesota Wild's community planting campaign with our team out in the field for the day. It's the kind of project that fits exactly who we are: hands-on, community-minded, and proud to give back to the city we work in every day.
